Automatic pool covers can be placed in a variety of locations. The main factor behind the location of a cover is based on the type of steps you choose.

If you choose to have full-width steps or a bench, the pool cover will be installed underneath, while if you’re looking for a Roman style or corner steps, the pool cover can be placed behind the wall at the opposite end of the pool in a pit covered with a grating (this doesn’t encroach on the bathing area). Alternatively, the cover can be placed in a pit on the ground.

The use of an above-ground cover is a solution for small pools. It is positioned at the end of the pool and takes up no space inside the pool. It’s an ideal safety system, especially for mini-pools that don’t need to be declared in advance.
